All press must check in with media liaison for every bout and obtain media credentials to be able to cover the event.
All interview requests need to go thru the media liaison. Half-time interviews will be granted by request at the discretion of willing skaters.

In order to preserve the safety of skaters, refs, and NSOs and the viewing experience for the fans, the following policies and procedures for photographers and cameras have been adopted by Tampa Roller Derby (TRD) for all TRD related events. This applies to all league members, in addition to fans, media, and any other potential photographers.
Any and all SLR (any camera with removable lens) cameras must be registered and waivers signed before bringing camera into facility. (This excludes point-and-shots.) A sticker will be provided for your camera and it must be left in plain view for entire bout. Photographers who do not sign photo waivers will be asked to remove their cameras from the facility.
No video cameras or camcorders allowed unless registered media or official league videographers. (Cameras with video capacity will be allowed and only have to be registered if they are SLR.)
Only official staff and guest photographers can have access to track side ref lanes and in-field areas for photography (see diagram). Fans wishing to take pictures must do so from a seat. If photographers or hobbyists become an obstacle then they can be asked to move to a less obtrusive location or have their cameras removed from the facility.
To acquire a guest pass, photographers must contact and sign up with the photo wrangler at least 48 hrs prior to event. New photographers will be required to come to a brief policy review with an official TRD representative prior to the bout they wish to photograph.
Built-in flash may be used at photographers discretion but they may be asked to discontinue if it presents a problem to the skaters, refs, staff, or other fans.
Tripods, external flashes and/or strobe units may only be used by official league and guest photographers.
Official league photographers, videographers, and media have priority to areas around the facility. Please do not impede their ability to do so by respecting their areas and equipment.
TRD hopes to maintain the highest quality production in our events. The skaters, refs, staff, and fans are our top priority. We ask that you do not impact or impede their space or bout experience. You may be asked to leave the venue if not adhering to the policies and procedures set in place by TRD.
Any questions or concerns can be directed to the photo wrangler or track manager.
